Thats a great saving - are you sure this prepaid code will work on a 360 Xbox Live Gold subscription? I'm still in my trial month and would rather do this than sign up for £40 through M$

yes works fine - acts as a 12month 360 subscription when you enter the code when prompted on the 360

remember that project gotham won't work though - yet

I bought the same pack about 15 months ago and loaded it onto my xbox (original), and then moved the account across to the 360 on launch day with about 5 months outstanding, and have had no problems.

I had already input another xbox live 12 month subscription onto it from another game pack (think it was forza motorsport) so am currently on that one (due to expire March '07), so I would have thought that the PGR2 pack code shoudl work on the 360.

Does work. Got this 2 weeks ago. OH was on the month Gold sub trial and used this at end of month.

I've also seen posts from users saying they have bought 2 codes, and used them one after the other, to give them 24months Live access. The only reason i'm not doing that is because in another 10months i'm not sure if the code will be cheaper then :P

It appears that play.com are using an old boxshot of the xbox live starter kit.

Note that the actual item you will receive from play.com is the *updated* latest version of the Xbox Live starter kit, which, in addition to all of the above, also comes with a "Xbox Live Arcade" disc with 12 arcade game demos.



Also note that the headset that comes with this IS sort of xbox 360 compatible, just that you wont be able to use mute or volume controls when plugged into a 360 controller.

The game (PGR2) comes in a shrink-wrapped retail green "classics" box and not a paper sleeve as shown in the pic on play.com

12 months of xbox live /gold RRP £39.99

TOTAL: 79.97

All in all, an excellent deal, the next cheapest being amazon at £36.99

These are great, they save you having to pay £39.99 every 12 months for xbox live.

I always sell on the game or trade it in, If i get £5 for pgr 2, I've saved £20.

BARGAIN compared to just the 12 months subscription they are selling for £5 more than this bundle
PGR2 doesnt work on XBOX 360 though I dont think but the 12 months certainly does


Flog the game and headset on ebay to get a few quid back
