Moneysaving Breadmaker

I was visiting my brother in law today and he had just made bread in his breadmaker, smelled and tasted lovely. He has had this since Christmas, and raves about it. Now I am looking to treat myself to one, but being a DFW, would like to get one as moneysaving as possible.

Does anyone know of any bargains out there at the moment?

Can't wait to get one.

Thanks both, I have just been looking on Dealtime.co.uk and that states Amazon for £34.99, which looks like a good price. Will look if I can find it any cheaper.

I got the Morphy Richards stainless steel fastbake for £40 in asda - bargain - it's great, so much so I have just been back and bought another for my dad for his birthday !

    dippy moment !!!!
Sorry I didn't buy mine in asda !!!! I ended up buying it in a sale in LX direct for £29.99 - my dad was impressed but we couldn't get one for him for anything like that price.... the next best price was asda (which is still a bargain !) and I have just bought his from there - so, sorry about that -having a vague moment (hangover!!)

    cheers

I got one for 29.99 in John Dyas the other day. I don't know if these stres are nationwide, or just around here (Wiltshire), but they often have good offers for small electrical goods such as slow cookers, steamers etc.

I got my BM for free - birthday present from my office.

Last Christmas, as a joke, I put a list up in my offce : 'My Christmas Wish List'. Everytime I saw something I wanted, I would add it on. Just before my B-day, I took the list off (doing some spring cleaning), and a few days later got my BM!

At my last work, on my 30th I had a similar wish list. I don't celebrate b-days but everyone around was raving about the big three O. And I did not want any useless pressies like 3 boxes of chocs, flowers, etc (sorry I am a bit too practical at times). Any way, my wish list read 'presies uder £5, under £10, and £10 and more. The result? Got a brilliant hair clipper. When I was leaving that job, got a ultrusonic toothbrush too!

Maybe some would say that was very cheeky, but I reckon it was quite wise to let people know what would make a great present.

Sorry for an essay... moving back to the shade :p
  • Do you live near a Cash Generator Store? I have one near to me and pop in all the time because they have a brand new goods section and sometimes there are real bargains to be had - you have to keep going in though cos sometimes there is just stuff you wouldn't want. This week the one by me had Mophy Richards Breadmakers which were £69.99 in Argos for £30. I also got a Morphy Richards Steam Generator Iron which is fab for £40 (RRP £90). I didn't get the BM because I am saving up for a Panasonic which I understand to be the Rolls Royce of Breadmakers!!
