    My next is actually my Next directory account online - could i simply pay the balance using the Egg or Tesco card - that is the same isnt it??

    with the M&S card - i dont have to pay the debt onto another CC ie tesco do i? i can simply move xxx amount off.

    Correct. Then close the account.

    You need to be a bit careful about using credit cards to pay off credit cards (if that is what you mean) as it can be considered a cash transaction and attract a higher APR. You need to read the terms and conditions.

    say i moved the gld balance on tesco as you suggested - that would be a BT or would it be classed as cash transaction. its a scary place this being in debt.
