Hi
I am in need of a new cooker for my kitchen, mine has done so well it was about £199 7 years ago and has finally had it's day.
I was looking for a silver one, maybe combined gas and electric hob. Don't want to spend that much really.
Anyone seen anything whilst out duing easter weekend???

Funnily enough - just been on the phone and ordered one!!! Went out on Weds and Thurs looking, then searched the internet today to see if they would price match, and they did....all done and dusted. Didnt want to spend too much. Ended up buying a Whirlpool AKZ446 single electric oven - cheapest on the internet was ukdomesticappliances

The black one is featured in this picture, but we got the stainless steel one
shown here http://www.applianceconsultants.co.uk/index.asp?function=DISPLAYPRODUCT&productid=212
The Hob - stainless steel rim, ceramic hob AKM613 http://www.ukdomesticappliances.co.uk/content.php/1101080?ref=386&keywords=akm613&start=0
BRANDT was another range we were looking at - cheaper than these, but I preferred the look of the whirlpool (wondered if BRANDT looked a bit too cheap).
Went to a local dealer - he price matched everything (we got a sink and some taps too). Works out cheaper than going to the diy stores somtimes - esp if you need a few things.
Hope this is of some help.
Good Luck...there's so much to choose from!

it is lovely and works a treat though i must say due to having a kitchen fire i was in a hurry when i chose it within about ten minutes i must add!! but i thought it was a good price i paid £439.99 for it from a shop local to me in bury and i thought it did a lot for the price it is ceramic top so lovely to clean! i wanted automatic but a lot of them are just minute minders which means it works like an egg timer not switch on/off like i wanted this is automatic, hope this helps! good luck!0 -
Ahhh...sorry!! Waffled on for ages as well didnt I??!
ukdomesticappliances definitely seemed cheapest for when I was looking around for the fitted one. Also RTD seemed quite reasonable http://www.rtd.uk.com/index.asp
Hope you find what you are looking for!
