I've updated this as they were guessed at and agreed upon (I've taken the consensus answers) and the list is:-

    Wales (the Whales!)
Easter Island (the island with easter eggs on, in the centre)
Cannes (the cans in the bottom right)
    Wellington (the boot, bottom right)
Chile (hanging on the wall on the right)
    Canaries/Canary Islands (on the right)
New York (the big apple - middle top)
Turkey (top left on the roof)
Brussels (bottom left on the road)
Hollywood (the star on the pavement - bottom left)
New Delhi (Deli opening soon sign - bottom right)
Panama (the hat - top right)
(Leaning Tower of) Pisa (leaning tower of pizza)
Cape Cod (cod with cape on!)
Canada (maple leaf on shop on left)
Australia (kangaroo on shop on left)
    Cologne (bottom left)
Taj Mahal (name on shop, back middle)
    Cork (on roof at top)
Phoenix (image on flag - shop on the right)
Buffalo (the buffalo in the middle)
Red Square (on shop sign left hand side)
    Manila (envelope, bottom right)
Red Sea (Red 'C' on left hand shops)
Belgrade (bell with 'A' grade on it on the left hand row of shops)
China (the cups in front on the green awning outside the newsagents)
Havana, Cuba (cigar - streetpost on left)
Sugarloaf Mountain, Rio (sugarlumps/loaf on top of roof on the left)
Gibraltar (at the back on the roof in the middle with a monkey on it)
Times Square (The square clock showing midnight)

    Good luck everybody!
