debenhams instore furniture sale...

I have been in a couple of debenhams over the past few days (merry hill and Brum).. in both they have had some really nice furniture at "silly" prices.
For instance, I've just bought a Huuuuuuge armchair which was reduced from £949 to £214. It is massive, an absolute bargain and the quality of it is incredible (compared to my crappy argos sofas!).. there are other items like sideboards, sofas, mirrors... blah blah blah...
Like most, i'm sceptical about the original selling price but I'm not sure that places like debenhams really "over price" the furniture too much. My chair certainly looks expensive, it's supremely comfortable and the fabric is stunnin'... I'm happy with the price regardless and you'd pay £200+ for a normal "bucket seat" that you can pick up anywhere these days.
anyway, if you're looking for anything like that and you're passing a debenhams then pop in and have a look.
