You could use those gel warmers that you put in hot water to activate.

If you don't want to use full size hot water bottles I got two kids tiny ones for a £1 in a £ shop and they don't take much water and are good for your hands - i would use on my mobility scooter in winter!

I buy heat patches in boxes of 4 from the poundshop. You can also get "cura heat" and other names from Boots etc but they're much more expensive. They're a teensy patch about the size of a credit card - you take it out of the packet, and once exposed to air it warms up magically. They're not reusable, but do last hours.

I have two of these. They are fabulous!!!!
My mum made me mine out of an old pillow slip and some wheat (Dads a farmer so we are never short of wheat).
I accidently burnt one once and it smelt awful like burnt toast but even worse. I ended up baking mum a fruitcake and she made me two more.

Wonderful things they are. I use mine for my gallstone pain, warming the bed, period cramps etc
Now I am using mine as I don't want to put the heating on but need a little warming up hehe.
