What are we going to do with the Sonisphere tickets....

I noticed this thread - we have got a free weekend of music, with decent loo's, LOL. We do not live far, when they have fireworks it is like they are just on the next field.
Standon Calling is on the same weekend (Fri to Mon though) and that is camping too, and that is just a few miles the other direction from us. Saxon are on instead of Thin Lizzy and they are at SC too but some of the bands seem to be doing Standon Calling one day and then Sonisphere the other. Standon Calling is cheaper than Sopnisphere as well and they are laying in buses from the station for free. They did have tickets when I last looked - £25 pd.
I think we are in for a noisy old weekend with both of the concerts going on. And it looks like we will be going nowhere that far as the roads will be at a standstill. I remember people getting stuck on the A1 for 3 hours when they went to see Robbie. Nice.0 -

Dear Ents 24 competition winner
Please accept our apologies for the poorly worded email you received from us yesterday.
As you are aware, you have actually won 2 weekend & camping tickets for Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth House on Saturday/Sunday 1st/2nd August 2009.
Please contact us at ruth.lockwood@seetickets.com if you require any further information.
Our records show that you have successfully printed your tickets - these remain valid, and we hope that you enjoy what promises to be the festival of the year.
Yours faithfully
See Tickets
looks like we have only won one pair of tickets and it was an error on their part. Don't know whether anyone else has got this email.
I had the email from Ents24 saying the above and one from Rocksound saying the exact same thing too...so as far as I am aware I have won 2 pairs.
Check the ticket numbers...if they are different then you have won two pairs too.2010: £86040 -
hello,
yes they said that you do have to give the name of the person that you have the ticket to.0 -
I genuinely cannot go and would like to give them to somone else. What can I do?0
-
I spoke to SeeTickets and they said as long as the person(s) attending physically have the tickets, the name and address on the ticket is not a problem.0
-
Is the name on the tickets Surname only or is it full name?
I haven't printed mine out yet, problem with the printer at the mo, but I want my son to have the tickets. Same surname and address so don't see a problem. I hope.

Surname only, also had a call saying that they can be called to do a change of details, so should be no problem giving them to somebody else.Thankyou Sir Alex for 26 years0

to confirm, you CAN pass on to family & friends (see the email I got from See Tickets below...)
Thank you for your email,
The tickets you have won entitle you to enter the show from Friday 31/07/09 at 10:00 am and you must leave the campsite before 12:00 pm on Monday 03/08/09. These tickets include camping. Should you not wish to camp, pass outs are also available which you can obtain when you want to leave the festival.
Should you want friends or family to use the tickets on your behalf, this is fine as ID will not be required to enter the festival.
If for any reason the link you have received is not working, please send us your postcode and we will have the link resent for you.
Kind Regards
Nick Jackson
