I've spent nothing in the end - forgot about cakes, oops! - though I've been trying to spend an Amazon voucher. I've found one thing I really want (and at best price!) but as it's under £15 I need something else to make it free to post... that bit has taken hours of trawling through cheap cds and dvds and nothing has hooked me...

This week I finally managed to spend the £15 Amazon voucher I had for taking out their CC. I have ordered Martin's book, The Apprentice, a book for my son and a book and lockable diary for my daughters birthday. It was hard to get to the £15 to get the free postage because some of the things I wanted were from private sellers, not Amazon, and their postage charge is seperate. I ended up buying some items from Amazon, even though they were a bit more expensive, because when the postage was added to the private sellers item it worked out more costly in the end.

It is fun though having £15 to spend for free!

I did spend £0 in the end! :D

And I just checked my ING account and I have a £10 Friend Referral bonus in there too! :D:D

Brilliant way to end a spend free day I feel. I'm aiming for 2 spend free days in a row seems all the shops are shut tomorrow anyway.

Ahhhh still 2 more days off work - hooray.
