Advice - Tesco taken money but cancelled order

I am absolutely furious and wondered if someone can help - I have ordered goods through Tesco Direct - £64 worth. The money has come out of my bank but they have cancelled the order stating there was a problem with processing the order either through not enough money in the account(which there was!) or the transaction wasn't authorised (which it was also), I am registered with the bank verifying service where your cards are all registered and you have to give passwork/pin number before they process the order - if this was the case they wouldn't have got the money out of my bank!!!! Any advice would be appreciated - they say they will look into it and it could take upto 7 days.
Sorry if i am posting in the wrong place, but just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction - I know its not a large amount but its mine and could do with it back sooner!
thanks
Suzy

I don't know much about this side of Tesco, however I used to have a problem with Next. Whenever I tried to pay my bill over the phone or online my bank would always authorise the transaction ( I could tell from my online banking as the money would be reserved for a few days but never leave my account) but Next would always tell me it was declined. Upon investigating it turned out that Next use an address verification system and that was causing the problem. Next had my address as Flat 0/1, but my bank had my address as Flat 1, so Next's system was automatically declining the transaction even though my bank was authorising it.
I know this is a wee bit long winded, but it could be possible you are having a similar problem?0
