Post BR bank question

OK, just went BR today. Going to go to the co-op tomorrow and set up a new account and then get all my utilities sorted out.
I was thinking though that as my OH has an account and she isn't BR it would make more sense to use her account as she has a healthy overdraft and her's won't be closed instantly if she goes overdrawn or anything.
The thing is though that her account is with Natwest, my biggest creditor. I have a current account and we have a joint account which will obviously be frozen but will natwest take any action against my OH? Can they be !!!!!y and just freeze or close her account out of spite? Would it be best to just up sticks and have my OH move to co-op with me? I'd rather not as she won't be able to get to the bank until the weekend and I need to get direct debits moved ASAP.
Any help on this much appreciated

They cant just close her account as she has not broken the terms of any agreement. one thing that is not commonly realised is that if you do use your partners account that in extreme circumstances the OR could ask to see her bank statements (although this is hardly ever done)Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

But I never used her account pre BR, only considering it now to give us a bit more flexibility afterwards.0

lol cheers mate, I reckon I'll go that way and use OH's account, just seems simpler.0

If the joint account had a overdraft your OH will become responsible to pay that overdraft0
