Hello peeps

Anyone have any ideas how they can help me.

I won a holiday to Ibiza through a text competition with Pukka up which was meant to be for thier 100th boat party July 20th 2009. The girl at Pukka up persueded me to go for the Sunday after which i did to be nice and also knew some of my friends would be there on that date. For the last couple of weeks i've been waiting for confirmation on my win going this Sunday for 6 nights but didn't hear anything despite loads of emails :mad:. Recieved an email just before telling me unfortunatley they cant get me onto the flight for this weekend but can get me on sept 7th flight. I'm absolutley gutted:( i've bokked a week off from work who have got agency staff in especially to cover me. Also brought holiday insurance and new clothes and my friend has also done the same. I'm so upset and don't know how to tell my friend just yet. Do u think i can fight this and try and persueded them as i have seen the flight company still has seats left on the flight. If anybody can help in anyway i will really appreciate it THANK YOU.

I'm really sorry I can't help you - it sounds as if someone has made a dreadful mistake at their end but YOU certainly shouldn't have to suffer because of it.

All I can suggest doing is contacting the Institute of Sales Promotions and see if they can help, although it might be a bit short notice now.

Still, give them an email. I emailed them this morning about a comp and they replied within half an hour to let me know they were looking into it.

Thank you so much Purplebutterfly for your great advice i will be contacting the institute of sales promotions immeadiatley. The company have no idea how upset I am and how much inconveineince they have caused. I was going to post it as my first win but was waiting for official confirmation. I will definatley keep you informed THANK YOU.:beer:

I really can't think of anything else..........can you get a phone number for the promoter and keep calling until you get to talk to a supervisor?

Is it through Pukka (sorry, I don't know what that company is ) or a PR company on their behalf? I don't mind Googling it for a while if it might help you

The competition was through mixmag text in competition and the prize is with Pukka up. Thanks though I will be ringing tomorrow. the office is in Ibiza though ( but it will be worth it if i can get the prize back for Sunday.
