Hi you dont earn to much for the schemes if you sign up on home2own website you can earn upto 60,000.
They do different schemes in different areas the more u earn the less they may lend but will still help if under the 60k.
We are looking into homebuy direct but it has to be a new build from a developer doing the scheme and what happens is you get a mortgage for 70% the developer put in 15% and the government puts in 15% maybe lower if earnings above a certain level. You pay mortgage as normal but the other percentage is an equity loan and is interest free for 5 years.
The other poster this scheme operates in surrounding areas of exeter but not sure if in exter go on the website.
They have other schemes there as well.0 -

Thanks gemma7wayne, I think we will try and look into one of these schemes, that's a really big help! We aren't desperate to be right in the middle of Exeter so this would be perfect for us. We currently earn just under £32k but as of September it will go up to £34'500 so hopefully we will still be alright for these schemes. I'm a bit excited now, I thought there was very little hope for us for the next 3 years.
Thank you thank you thank you0
