Photographers in Bristol

I have got some really reasonable quotes for photographers (we only want a disc, not an album) but I don't have any recommendations.

Anyone from the South West/Bristol area - I'd appreciate some help!

Gary Davies of Yate used to be a fab photographer. I've had the pleasure of working alongside him when getting brides ready on their big day.
Not sure if he is still in business but have his contact details from the internet.

I can highly recommend Dave and the team from Arcadia Photographic in Bristol/Bath area. They're doing the pics for our wedding and have done some family stuff for us previously and you'll never find anyone who works harder or loves his job more!
Dave's done loads of work in various forms and is very reasonable with his pricing - you give him a budget and he'll work to it.

£850 for the day with a CD of all our images to print ourselves.

3 times master photographer of the year and a really nice guy to boot! His pics are fab. What swung it for us is he's worked at our venue quite a bit.

I'm a dressmanker and it was when I helped the bride and her bridesmaids and mum get ready, if he was there we would chat about the best way to get the dress perfect for the shot! David hume was another but I didn't like him. He liked me out of the way!!! I used to recommend Gary all the time. Not sure if he's still working now. Was a while ago. I've since moved North.

Have had a look at the Arcadia Photographic website this morning and Dave has just announced that he has a basic full wedding package, single photographer for only £300 but you have to live within 100 miles of Bristol/Bath.

Clearly Dave has lost his mind as that's ridiculously cheap for the service he offers!
Naturally service charges apply for travel if you are outside that 100 mile radius, but he does work nationally as he's covering our wedding in North Lincolnshire in Feb.

This lady is about an hour from Bristol but I've seen her work and it is beautiful and reasonably priced. www.kimberleyarnoldphotography.com. Dont know if she does just cds though.
Edit...sorry see its a wedding day you are after.....think she only does portraits....maybe someone to consider another time!

Kelly - thank you. I have emailed Dave so hopefully he will get back to me.
My OH thinks he knows of his company through exhibiting at wedding fairs so he's pretty happy, which makes life easier for me!
