STV has teamed up with the Sun Inn to give one lucky viewer the chance to win an overnight stay including dinner, bed and breakfast for two people.
This boutique hotel and Gastro pub, situated in Lothianbridge, Midlothian, has recently undergone a substantial refurbishment programme. Exposed stone, wood panelling, roaring log fires, oak floor and beams are just some of the features which can be found in the restaurant and bar.
There are five lavish bedrooms individually designed with a mix of both contemporary and classic styles. Guests can expect luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen, a Hypnos mattress, hand made king size bed as well as a monsoon shower. Each room is fully equipped with all the latest technology including Plasma TVs, DAB Digital radio and Sky television. It also has a spectacular suite which includes deluxe interiors and a one-off bespoke copper bath tub.
The restaurant’s chef’s, father and son team, Ian and Craig Minto produce high quality dishes using fresh produce sourced locally where possible. Its unique Gastro pub menu was recently awarded an AA rosette.
