OR letter, is this normal?

Probably quite standard but just had the 'pack' through from my OR. They have requested details of Bank & credit card statements for the last two years and confirmation of when my last employment ceased. Are these standard requests?
Other than that I just have to sign the standard forms and return.

I was asked but to be honest i had the odd few lying around from 2007 and 2008.. sent what i had thought if they wanted more they could ask the bank..0
