My post was deleted! Why?

Wasn't sure where to post this, but here seemed like a 'safe' place.
Yesterday I posted in the 'Grabit while you can' board...about joining
Auidble.co.uk and getting two free books to download. (which I thought was great as the books I downloaded were worth £45)
Now that seemed like the right place as it was an offer that would end
shortly.
This morning went to see if there had been any replies, but the thread was
nowhere to be seen......deleted I assume!
I did post a link that I had got through Google, and imagine it was considered
to be a referal...or something!
I'm fairly new, so could someone just explain Why, so I know not to do the wrong thing again.
Many thanks
JTM

  • You didnt use the special code word which authenticates messages automatically using the cyber-detection system installed on the synthetic analysistematical sub-servers.

    But you should know that
  • OR..... it could have been merged with another thread! Or deleted mistakenly as a referral link. Or it may just have worked its way down the pages quite quickly. I'd think most probably the first.
  • Nope - you're right, it has been deleted

    I'll get my coat

If you check janthemum's posts in her profile, the post is not there so it has definitely been deleted.

Edited: you posted again while I was typing (and being distracted by OH who wanted to know how long to cook the fish for!)

No idea why, but I wouldn't take it personally, I get posts deleted on a daily basis :D

You won't get many sensible replies in the Arms :p . I've no idea why but you could PM the borad guide asking, or ask on the 'about this site' board. Possibly you unwittingly broke a rule, in which case it'd be better you found out so you'd know for future or there may have been some other reason.
    Hope This Helps
