    Yes - write straight to the Chairman and complain about them being crap.
    Then tell everyone on every bulletin board they are crap.
    Then never buy from them again, and tell all your friends to do the same.
    Other than that they won't give a monkey's.

    No, don't do that.

    Tell them that you are entitled to a replacement because the item they supplied was faulty.

    Tell them that legally, refunding you isn't good enough.

    If they refuse to play ball and have refunded you anyway, write to them telling them you will take legal action to recover the £50 difference between what they've refunded and their current price.

    If they ignore THAT, then take the aforementioned legal action.

    (It's very easy and you will recover your costs, because you WILL win, because what they are telling you is c**p).
