slough court routine

Can anyone say if, at Slough County Court, its usual practice to have to see the judge.? I know they have a walk in service so no need to make an appointment.

    Oooh My place!!!!

Yep; see the judge. Turn up service. Has a well-working metal detector but the security guards are a bit stodgy. Toilets clean, vending machine usually out of order. Lady clerks on front desk a little snooty but the clerk who deals with BRs is really friendly. My BR judge needed new teeth and on his salary it should be manageable......

Thanks skylight. Oh dear. My query was for my brother who has no choice but BR on advise of various agencies. He's in an awful state mentally and i don't know if he can cope with seeing the judge. Would i be allowed to go in with him just for support.?

You can but ask. Ring the court tomorrow and ask. Most courts are usually quite accommodating.
