Hiya everyone still on here, oh is watching some story about a poor woman who gets shipped to Australia, so I'm kicked off the tv :)

Had a funny day, no alcohol, a few cigs this evening, no real desire to drink, but a sort of lathargic feeling most of the day and a sort of moody feeling most of the day as well.
A bit restless tonight, eaten some chocolate, so now I feel a bit sick of it.

Been chasing that horrible peacock round the garden with a big stick, man that thing can run fast :) got a bit of exercise out of it anyway. Also we went for a bike ride, which mostly consisted of not trying to run over the millions of people going for a bank holiday walk, not exactly my ideal thing. Ended up with me and daughter going down a covered over slide, daughter (at 2 and a half) went down face first and was fine, me (at 35) ended up face first in sand.........:) feeling a bit old

    Hope everyone is alright tonight.

    Hi mich

Yep a good day out and showing myself up in front of all the other parents, with a mouthful of sand :) funny, daughter liked it anyway.

Nice to have somewhere just to come and talk to people about how I feel. The oh doesn't understand really and I shouldn't expect her too, she's not been through it.
I wish I'd never been through it either, but I've only myself to blame to have got to this stage. I've said this before, but I do look around me and see the way our society bigs up alcohol and how clever it is to be drinking and wish we could be more like some of the other european countries, like Italy or france for example, they seem to have a much healthier outlook on it.
