HSBC giving away free £20!

HSBC are giving £20 cashback over the Easter break if you apply for an Online Saver, Credit Card, Car Insurance of Bank Account Plus.

The Bank Account Plus isn't up to much but the other 3 could be worth getting just for the £20. It's £20 per account opened so potentially £80 available.

I was about to start a thread on this myself!! It's actually £20 for each on e you do. I've done it, the wifes done it, £100+ rude not to!

Ah right, I've just applied for the credit card, I'll do the account and savings account if possible too.

Just went through the process of applying for a savings account
but stopped as it seems very very dodgey that they ask if you
have any more credit cards other than hsbc,and it then asks for:
THE CARD NUMBER
START AND FINISH DATE,
And most suspectly, it asks for the credit card 3 digit security code :eek:

so at that point i left the site !

ive never been asked for that sort of full on information, on any bank
or savings applications,and ive got about 10 because of previous financial
incentives!


Just seemed a bit suspect to me................

Is the 20 pounds merely for getting the credit card? What if I were to apply and not use it? Would I still get the 20 pounds sent by cheque? It does not say on the HSBC website.
