See this has been reduced at Argos from 299 to 199 pounds

Anybody know if this is any good or if there are good similar priced ones out there as well.

A reduction code for argos would also make this more appealling

Not bad review given for this machine, see below, i think if you are looking for a machine to transfer your video onto DVD, this is a good buy

saving space under the TV

and letting my sony surround system do all the real work when it comes to playing dvd's

I got dh this one for Xmas, he is very happy with it and is currently putting everything from the camcorder onto DVD, later he is going to transfer our wedding video (from 1994) on to DVD. This is something we had intended to do. but it was a bit expensive to transfer video to DVD, now we can do it ourselves I also used the £5 voucher from buying the kids playstation games (2 for £50, one of them being San Andreas) and £28 worth of vouchers from sending off till receipts to Make your views count - so for me it was a £166 bargain.

The Camcorder plugs straight into the front of the player (behind a flap) so that makes it easy to record straight from it. It looks nice as well!
