Hi Hoping someone out there can give me some advise.
I know I have bad credit, It is all paid off now except for a loan from a bank which has 5 years to go.
I have tried a couple of mortgage people of this web site a few years ago, I could get a mortgage, but obviously this will be more expensive.
I would need £80,000, with approx £8,000 deposit.
Can anyone advise

Hi
You need to give more detail about bad credit - what do you mean exactly, e.g. was it missed payments, defaults, CCJs, what amounts, when they were, any satisfied etc?
Not sure what info you're after to be honest - it sounds like you're already approached brokers who have presented the options given your adverse credit history.0 -
Hi Andy
Thanks for the quick reply, yes it was CCJ and it was last year, but is settled now.
Altough I know it will last for 5 years.
What I want to know, is the subprime market the only route for me,
This is only the second time I have tried for a mortgage, so it's all new to me.
Thanks for your help.0 -
How much was the CCJ registered for?0
-
It was Council Tax, £6030

Thanks Athsine
Who are they (CTAB)? if you have an email address or telephone number, that would be great0 -

Warning SPAM thread!!!
The OP and Athsine are the same person, touting for business for Leslie MacNaughton (Ms).
The same trick has been carried out on a different thread (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1830391), with the same responses from the 'grateful' OP. I have reported the thread as SPAM and advise others to do so.0 -
Ummm excuse me i'm not a spammer jeeeeese, i'm just passing on the word of a good mortgage advisor. So what if someone else has praised her??0

To DD2 Thanks for the tip, if the mortgage advisor can help is that bad, or is there something else I should know, it's so difficult to get someone to trust
To Athsine
Thanks for coming back to me,0 -

Thanks for coming back to me,
I wouldn't phone up a mortgage broker who was recommended in a post which does look like spam, and does look like it is touting for business. Be very wary. Go back to one of the brokers you used before, or ask family or friends for advice - no-one's going to be able to 'magic' you a great deal if you have bad credit and a high LTV.0 -

I totally agree with you on that and no, no one can work magic but I found this particular person helpful in my situation so thought i'd pass on her details as a possible option.
I came on this forum to ask a question but just happened to see these post and thought I would just try to be helpful but apparently people seem to have an issue with that.0
