Hi, I am looking for private mortgage loans (pr!stamos hipotecarios privados) on properties in Costa Rica. Could anyone please suggest me from where I can get the loans at low interest rates.

This is a UK site. You are better off trying something closer to home.

Why on earth did you pay £699 upfront? I wouldn't pay an upfront fee for any service let alone mortgage advice.
  • very interesting thread I went to see an Independent whole of the market adviser he was very helpful I was a bit sneaky I took a notice of the software he was using its called "Trigold Prospector" it says its only available to intermediary's though but im sure someone must have got hold of it who isn't why doesn't everyone just use that that's my question?

Trigold and Mortgage Brain are the two sourcing systems. The basic software is probably very easy to obtain, but the daily updates aren't. Without them the software is useless.

As first time buyers, you would have been better using a small local firm and have local contact and service levels more suited for you.

Could you elaborate on using a local broker please? I dont understand what you mean by local contact and service levels.

Sorry if its been answered elsewhere, i haven't read through the whole thread.

    Thanks

Someone who meets you face to face, so they need to be local to you. Service levels which include that face to face contact and accessibility, not a faceless telephone operator.

  • Hi all…. Was reading the thread so far. But got totally confused and don’t know whether it is the right place to post. I’m new to Canada and to mortgage. I’m planning to take mortgage for buying a new house and depend on some well known mortgage brokers such as Butler Mortgage, Ontario or so on for the same. Whether it is advisable to have a broker or need to deal it directly? Advices are expected, Thanks in advance.:j
