  • I was just the same, had to stop myself from filling the forms in in one day and booking the court for the next - without the final chat with the CAB - managed to manacle myself to the table in order to do things properly - glad I did!

It's normal I think, it's not something you look forward to so you just want it over and done with so you can start on the 'new life' :)
  • hi dojoman, i loved the way you wrote your reason and i wonder if its not too much trouble if you could help me with wording for mine:

my story goes like this: my husband daughter and i immigrated from south africa in 2005. things were going well, we both worked, then i fell pregnant and stopped working. my husband got a really good job and was earning enough to support us all so we got a mortgage and second mortgage for home improvements and were living within our means but then in 2009 he was made redundant so we were both at home. i went back to work and earned a really small salary, he battled to find work and was out of work for a year. we started getting more loans and payday loans to pay our mortgage and secured mortgage. my husband eventually got a job as a driver but only temporary and by this time the debt had spiralled out of control. we could not catch up on our mortgage arrears and so it went on then this month our house ended up being repossesed and we are in the process now of moving out.

Hi there, this thread was actually started by Betankim and it is their words that I keep bumping up, so unfortunately I cannot take the credit for that:( However your reasons seem ok to me and should be fine:)
