The 510 only has major roads of Europe, while the Go 700 has the detailed mapping. Suspect the 710 is more of an equivalent and so if the Maplins pricing is anything to go by, the 710 will likely be around £400. It will be interesting to see the prices once competition gets going. From my view, if you can get a GO 700 for £300 or a 710 for £400, I would take the 700. If the difference were less than £50, I would go the other way.

Just saw that advert again - it was Halfords - however it wasn't the 700, it was the 500 they were selling at an uncompetitive price of 299..... bah!

No.

Middle of May is latest estimate.

TomTom are well known for late release of new products.

They did have them on their website here for a couple of days a while back, but then they removed them for some reason .

Basically they look exactly the same as the current GO 300/500/700 - just with some extra functionality (some detailed here).
