Just got my hands on a app that shows the top x deals from HotUkDeals website. It looks like its taking the hottest deal RSS and making it portable, but if you are a money conscious consumer then for £0.59 it may help you out.
Take a look on Itunes for HotUkDeals.

Or just point your Iphone web browser @ the hotukdeals RSS feed (new user so can't post the link yet) to do exactly the same thing and save 59p0

True, but its all about the faff factor. Download an app and it saves you the hassle, plus you get other features that the developer may add.

The faff factor is removed if you go to the same RSS page and hit the "+" button to put a shortcut on the iphone homescreen as a bookmark.
The app just seems a bit cheeky as the guy who made it has no association whatsoever with a site that basically bookmarks their RSS feed and charges money for it.0 -
i don't think this'll be in the top ten grabbit bargains.NO RAIN - NO RAINBOWS

Maybe I should develop an Iphone app that displays the MSE newsletter (to save the hassle of opening my mail client) and charge a quid for it0

Trying to keep my iPod Touch apps down in number so that the home screen does not overflow. Seems to be no convenient way to hide less-used apps.0

I've not bothered with the RSS feed, you can get a quick-loading variant of the main page by bookmarking http://m.hotukdeals.com0
