If I knew him a bit better, I would say something, but he's under so much pressure that I think if I add any more, he will either crack, or just finish things, so I think patience is the only way to deal with it at the moment.

It's hard though because I really like him, and I could seriously fall for him, but I'm trying hard not to, because I don't think it will work out. *sigh*

I'm glad I know he has "kids" as opposed to just one or I'd think you were dating my DS's dad! He is work obsessed and a great dad to DS but any female is third on the list. IMO - The longer you leave it without saying anything the more he thinks you are accepting of the situtation.

seriously though-you cannot change a person, you can only change how you react to them and how you deal with them...

Yeah, i was looking at a mobile home that was linked on some post yesterday *i'd like to live by the sea* but cannot afford it until I am debt free and that is looking further and further away at the moment.

I just have to not react, in loads of ways its better then it was. I must remember change comes slowly.

Skinty, Stu was like that, his main priority was work, followed by sleep, followed by his Mum and his sister, followed by his friends, followed eventually by me and the kids. I promised myself I would never let myself be in that position again, so eventually I will have to say something I suppose.
