Need a loan

I desperately need a loan as I need to replace the roof over my kitchen, which as it is leaking has now killed the pcb in my boiler.

It should cost about £500 to repair the roof, so I need a loan of approx £700-£1000 to be able to habve the work done and repair the ceiling/damp proof etc.

The only problem is I have very bad credit, so bad I can't even pay with cash.

I'm not on benefits, I have a job with an income of approx £18000 gross, but theis needs to be done asap.

Can anyone advise

Why won't the insurance cover it?

Insurance won't cover the cost of the roof as it is down to wear and tear. It needs stripping of the slate and a membrane putting underneath then the slate relaying.

    Two options:

    1) Provident: Will lend to anybody, but you'll pay through the nose for it

    2) Salary Advance from employer

Use a screw driver to punch a hole in the ceiling where your leak is. This should be fairly easy as it will be water damaged. The hole will encourage the leak to ‘leak’ in one place

Get a big plastic funnel like this one and some clear plastic tubing. Screw the funnel to the ceiling and line the tube to your sink.

It will buy you a few months while you save.
