DVC and Bankruptcy

We are members of Disney Vacation Club, which is a timeshare type thing direct with Disney. We are filling in the forms for bankruptcy and hope to file soon.
Any ideas on how the OR is going to deal with these?

Most timeshares have very little re-sale value, if that is the case, the OR will send a disclaimer. But, with it being Disney it may be worth something? if it is, they will use a broker to sell.

    Hi,

Just wonder if there is potential for a relative /friend to buy your interest? Thats if the OR decides to take it that is.

I have looked on a brokers website in the USA and it will have a resale value of £12,000 less fees and taxes, so OR should be able to recoup about £10,000.

At least a little to go towards our debts.
