Currys: Free Delivery When You Spend £99

Currys are offering free delivery when you spend £99. The offers can be used on sale items which has already started. Not a massive saving but avoids the need to queue in the sales!

The landing page says "exclusive partner offer" so I assume that you need to visit via an affiliate link to get the discount.

What is interesting,is that Comet do the exact same fridge freezer,for £199 which includes free delivery.

It seems to be hit and miss. I bought a BUG DAB radio from Currys for £105 with free delivery, despite their lowest price promise Comet could only do £109.99 + £5.95 delivery.

They refused on the basis that they do not match delivery charges - Currys was free, comet £5.95. Also Comet suggested that as the colour of the item was different it was not an identical product!

Intererstingly they did once refuse to match a price from Amazon on the basis that the item has to be in stock. However they have no way of verifying if Amazon have an item in stock. I asked them why they specifically mentioned Amazon as a price that they could beat, if in fact they would not, but never got an answer.

I just got my receipt for my purchase and with it came a voucher for 2 months of free DVD rentals at Screenselect. Usually this costs £14.99 a month so it looks like its worth £30, not bad considering I only spent £55.

I've had a quick look at Currys site and can't find details of this offer, so I dont know if its still on. Can anyone shed any light on this as I may make another purchase!
