Don't worry. "Things can only get better!" Do you know what, that would make a really good election winning sound bite?
But on a serious point, there is not a bad word against a recovery at the moment. Gordon is really pulling this one off, I fancy a labour re-election, come next May.

I'm kind of hoping for a labour win, but won't be voting for them.

Only hoping for it so they can clean up their own absolutely collosal mess instead of the next tory leader being blamed like Maggie was.

Even heard some labourites on the radio saying they don't want to be realeced now as a re-election could see the party gone forever.

That's the definition of a 'win win situation'...

A 6% swing is required, the second largest of all time. Although, labour is losing voters, a good proportion will be voting for independents. I think most might be in for a bit of a shock next May. After all, if house prices are rising then, for many, all will be right with the world, its the only econimic element that most people think they understand.

    it started in Amerwica.

Its still going on in Amerwica

Bernanke says its getting worse but more slowly now.

better by 2011, but it wont feel like it, he says.

and the dreamers in the UK say its all over.

    I wish they were correct.

Here lies the problem the bulls have..Until the financial system sorts itself.we will have problems and the house market needs stability which looks very far away.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

That's great news, after all debt is wealth, isn't it ? Can anyone who is a 'bull' correlate these two issues ?

The past few month's reports of green shoots.
    Record government debt.

It ain't rocket science my friends.

Erm. That just says rich people have more debt as a percentage of their take home pay.
