Cheap o2 K750i PAYG

Wow! This has come down sharp...I remember selling my brand new one which was 'compensation' from o2 at around £180 early this year!

And considering at the moment you could get £20 of Argos vouchers included, this brings it down to under £110!

I'm tempted :)

Costs more in Carphone Warehouse (£149.99 including £10 credit), but is unlocked.

Better deal IMO as it would cost at least £10 to get it unlocked down the market by your dodgy trader, this is factory unlocked.

Not sure that's true. I was in London a couple of days ago and was surprised to see shops in the Tottenham Court Rd area offering to do it for £3.

Even if it's not, I'd prefer the phone to be unlocked, unbranded straight out of the box, knowing that the software on it hadnt been messed with.

But each to his/her own :)

Actually if you are brave enough there is a website that will let you have the w800 firmware (The walkman phone firmware) which is compatible with this phone for £8 which you can do yourself using the data USB cable. This not only upgrades the firmware, it unlocks the phone and removes any software branding :)

Not a problem in the first place if you are on o2 to begin with of course :D

    FYI

The phone comes in a unbranded box, and is totally unbranded. I would therefore guess totally unlocked too :)

The only sign of o2 was the SIM card!

My local O2 shop undercut Argos by £10, making the phone £119.99 and they also gave me a free samsung photo printer which Argos sell for £89.99 so i think i had a bargain there :)

Why didn't you tell them Argos were giving away £10 gift vouchers making the effective cost £119.99 :D

Anyway I have to exchange mine :(, hopefully the replacement will be better
