Had the moussaka last time. Was good but not amazing. What's everyone's top recommendation?

The whole chickens are always the first to sell out...a lot of people report they serve 3 easily (you can pick the size, weights are listed on the label). I would suggest buying the med veg then buy a cheap bag of potatoes for roasties and if you add a little bit of frozen veg you can have a good roast dinner for 3 :)

I got a chicken last time, it should have been £8.60 something on it's own and fed 2 adults and 5 children easily for a roast dinner with leftovers for sandwiches. (could have made stock and soup too probably had I been more organised) :)

The whole roast chicken is always good value, you need to bear in mind they're all different weights so find the biggest!

Are they still the ready-roasted chickens that are on the offer? Or is it the ones that you roast yourself again? I like the ones you roast yourself, but haven't tried the others.

Whats the difference between the Whole Roast Chicken and the Perfect Roast Chicken?

(I am aware that sounds like it deserves a punchline!)

And already cooked! I was disappointment, my marks didn't have the normal uncooked chicken, gutted!

Normal uncooked chickens are half price at the mo.

one for this deal are the already cooked ones.

I got chicken (£6.43), med veg, pear tart and some apple presse and saved just over £6

most of the chickens were £4.50-£5.75 in price few at £5.95 but I got the only one over £6.

I think the chickens have to be heated for twentyfive minutes. I was told by the M&S fellow wearing a DJ who was lurking by the meal deal sections. I wish he'd told me that the rose wasn't very nice.
