Identical apart from the Dell has the Dell badge in the centre of the scanner lid and a small Dell logo between the buttons.

just for info...as I've mentioned ordered another 2 at 12.33am today (24/04/06), Internet Receipt acknowledgment arrived at the same time and Order confirmation (with PDF) arrived at 6.46am

Steps for me

Ordered 1.
A few days later: Got email saying it had been despatched. Tracked with courier (walsh western)
Next day: email saying order is delayed - right even tho its been despatched?
Next day: Walshwestern call and say, i quote, "we want to deliver it on tuesday 25/4/06 evening" (5-9pm), i say alright

25/4/06 i.e. today, no courier comes, and i will b complainin to dell

I got the same message and delivery time...and no delivery...they usually show up...and the tracking system is down...odd! No use complaining to Dell...it's Walsh Western who use Business Post...among others.

If you go to dell site and click on "my order status" and put in your IR No and email,it will tell you the staus of order even if you haven`t had PDF

That printer sure is ugly. I'm not sure if the design was modelled on a sewing machine or a shoe box.

apparently this printer will take lexmark carts and u are able to get compatables even so its a very good deal
