I wanna check if my idea for a company name is listed as a trademark.

Hi folks

I have a good name I think for an online business and I would like to make sure that it does not infringe on any trademark etc. How do I go about checking this? Does it also matter whether I do a search at companies house??? Any other precautions I should take????

My business knowledge is limited so any advice on this matter will be appreciated.

PS is it worth buying up ".shop" and ".eu" or ".biz" domains as well as the .co.uk one for a small retail business????

Personally wouldn't say it was worthwhile buying several domain names - unless you reckon your business could become HUGE!!!

Stick to one domain, and advertise it well.
