I am not sure on the legalities but would advise the documents are always read fully and understood at the time they are signed. Sorry i cant be any more of a help.

Never go by what they say. Always check documents before signing, and if you don't understand something, run it past someone who you trust who does.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Most likely, but all the evidence is on the their side. Word of mouth against a signed agreement.

Hi thanks for all your replies. I think you are right I should have checked the agreement more fully. I'm not sure what we are going to do about that now though. I believe the salesman mis-sold it to us on purpose as the dealership went into administration soon after, but proving this is another matter.

What car is it? You've been paying for 48 months, and there is still over 21K to pay-off.

Thanks for your help. Still no further on with this but will let you know what happens!
  • Sorry to re-open this thread, but I'm confused - you've been paying off for 48 months, STILL have £21k to go, and it's a NISSAN MICRA?!?!!?

How much would one of these cost when bought in full new?
