Has anyone else experienced problems trying to cancel their equifax subscriptions?
I have cancelled twice online (didn't get an email each time so was suspicious). Then I received an email thanking me for joining some anti fraud somethingorother, so I rang up immediately and cancelled over the phone (after a long wait trying to get through to someone). Woman said there was no trace of my membership cancellation previously (what a shock).
Now they have taken £7 membership off my current account. I don't believe it.
Have never had these problems with experian, infinitely better company. I shan't ever use equifax again, their report is rubbish in comparison anyway, doesn't update for 12 months!!!!

Absolute scumbags, just spoke to some drip on their customer service line who said I "obviously hadn't submitted the form" online (as if I would be that stupid, especially to do it TWICE!)
No closer to getting my money back, what absolute idiots, I hate this company and recommend that anyone who wants to get a report from them should pay £2 and get the one by post rather than signing up for some automated payment thing that charges you even after you have cancelled.Vanquis- Limit £1250, balance £0

Clarence, write an official letter of complaint to their head office stating that others have had similar problems using their email system and have been unable to get in contact via the phone.
