  • Thanks,

I am on the mend now. Thankfully the rest of the family seem to have escaped the piggy flu . I seem to have lost the momentum for my diary now after missing so many days but I am contemplating starting a debt busting diary in September . So be on the look out for it;)

Hope the holidays are not causing you too much stress.

  • I'll look out for your new diary in September! Enjoy the rest of the summer holiday anyway. I hope you've found some cheap ways to entertain the kids!

On Saturday DS1 and DS2 went to tennis in the morning. Then DS2 got invited to a friends house. The tennis club is £72 per year for the two boys to join so that is a cheap way to entertain them on a saturday morning!:D Then DS2 was invited to a friends house in the afternoon.

I've got a relative coming down next week so OH is going to take Wednesday off so we can go out for the day, and we have a big family day out planned for next Saturday.

We usually take a picnic and go somewhere cheap like the beach or a picnic by the river for our family days out, so I'm looking forward to that and it shouldn't kill the budget.:j

This had been a pretty good summer so far. We have less money to spend than last year, but somehow have gone out more! Where there's a will there's a way! ;)
