Went to work for meeting....had pink fizz and colleague talked common sense into me that it was absolute madness to run up the motorway tomorrow to try and do a vat inspection so I have emailed vat inspector to put it off for a third time....can't see that they will be that pleased but I don't care at the moment.....

I'm at work and have nothing to do so no list for me.... at home is a different matter!! :rotfl:

made me feel much better Tigs... i've not done much of my list yet....!

    morning all -

    my list for today is.....

    [STRIKE]
    do some work...
    [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]
work out how to get the new mobile broadband dongle to work (have brought lappy to work so i can do it from here!)
    [/STRIKE]
    take erin to football training.

go home and do some more unpacking/sorting as didn't do any yesterday.

I have more but i know i won't get it done as this is a go out at 8am, get home at 9pm day......... so that's all i can reasonably hope to achieve... altho some more washing and a hoovering of house wouldn't go amiss....! but y'know i have downstairs neighbours and i don't want to risk upsetting them! did a washing at midnight last night, well lets just say i won't be doing that again!! - noisy plumbling!!

And my tumble dryer is cold.... which is not good...it obviously didn't like the shifting! and unlike my last one it doesn't seem to have a reset button. Thankfully it's not old, so should be fixable/covered by warranty.
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Rain Rain go away...........

Just zonked out for an hour on the bed, must have needed it:rolleyes:

The boys have new hair and have both decided that they want to dye their hair black, despite having beautiful colouring which some people would love to have........

at 14 and 16 I suppose they can decide for themselves and I shall only get them a wash out colour that will last for the school holidays. Has anyone else used a temp colour?
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

My DD's wanted to go red at christmas, I got the "wash out in 12 washes" one and did it as streaks rather than all over colour........despite washing their hair daily (with 2 lots of shampoo) it took months to go....left them both with blonder highlights which they loved but I did have to write a grovelly letter to DD1's school which is very strict on hair colour.

DD1 had 5 injections and 3 teeth pulled...she managed to get the other one out in the waiting room! She was very brave bless her.

Well I am feeling rather pleased (sorry those at work who haven't done anything from the list yet) Have blitzed the downstairs toilet, bleached all the woodwork, handles and floor, cleaned and hoovered. And have hoovered and scrubbed the kitchen floor, played 2 games of operation with DD and painted a play castle she was given for her party/birthday

Ok still need to sort the cupboard out in the sitting room, do a cupboard from the kitchen, cook supper, put DD in the bath and bed and sort out the budget!
