i don't think i spelled that right, :eek: but with the price of meat rocketing, am looking for some cheap ideas for sandwiches, or other lunchtime ideas. my son and i are diabetics and must have lunch, so it must have carbohydrates.

If at home, or have a microwave at work, you can't beat jacket potatoes.
what about tuna? i cook pasta and then mix it with tuna mayo and sweetcorn and that's nice cold.
