I was searching the run of the mill sites such as Argos, Homebase,John Lewis etc for a new Brabantia 50L Bin, nearly all of the sites were priced at £84.99 - 89.99 or thereabouts. I remember seeing a leaflet for Robert Dyas and lo and behold, they are selling exactly the same bin for £59.99!!! I was so pleased with my saving and the friendly attitude if the staff at the North Finchley store that I bought the Kettle I also needed with my £30 Saving - an absolute bargain !!!

Hello
Asda direct have a black touch 50L Brabantia bin for £60.00 - they will deliver it free to a Asda store for you to collect. Its only in black though - but thought this may be useful for anyone who does not live near a Robert Dyas - and wants to avoid their delivery charge..

Please remember Quidco!! - I always forget to put that in my posts
- but not any more :A0 -
It is also available online at Robert Dyas:

It's only the brilliant steel, though. Which is always slightly cheaper than the matt one.0 -
I have this bin (though admittedly an older model) and have had the lid and it's various compnents replaced several times over the years. Brabantia did used to be great and just send out the replacement parts without proof of purchase, however as the 'free' parts are turning up on ebay so often, they often ask to see a record of your proof of purchase. So it's worthwhile hanging on to your receipt for the guarrantee period (10 years!).
