Hi :hello:

The reason for me starting this diary is because the schools break up on Wednesday until 7th September and I really really need to keep myself on track.

This is the first year that I have had to really cope with the summer holidays as my DH was a stay at home dad until my youngest started school last September.

During term time I normally work 40- 45 hrs per week and as money is so tight I really needto earn the same amount of money each month. The plan is that I will work an hour or 2 in the morning at home and then go into the office around 2pm and work 5 or so hours . I will also need to work @ weekends:mad:

I really need to fit some fun things in for the boys to do ...... money is very tight ... so any cheap suggestions would be appreciated.

So from today until 7 September I need to work 310 hrs:eek::eek:

Right better get off to work to get the ball rolling.:T

    Hi

Well managed to work 8 hours yesterday . So that is 8/310 done - only 302 hours to go !!

This is the last day of school so I really must try and put in the hours at the office today. Will aim for 9.

Must remember and renew my tax credits !!!!

    Hi Hairy !

I have noticed your diary whilst browsing today . Great minds think alike.

It may sound strange but clocking up the hours on my daily diary will hopefully help to focus and make sure I get the work done!!

It will also include plans for housework:mad: and fun things to do with the boys.:T

I will definetly be popping to your diary to keep you company!!

    Morning:hello:

Well I managed 8.75 hrs in the office yesterday. So I have now completed
    16.75/310.:T.

However, this morning is already not going to plan! I usually get up each morning at 6am. The plan was to get a couple of hours work done before the kids get up "properly".... they tend to potter about in their bedroom before coming down. BUT , last night I had one of those nights where you wake up at 3am and start worrying about debts, money , everything really , and then can't get back to sleep. So.... I am sitting here in my pjs absolutely exhausted ! The kids are up and are fighting already !! I should still manage to get an hr or so done before I go to the office later in the day.

Anway plan of attack for today :

    CHeck on-line Banking
Put 2 loads of washing on- 1 already on.
    Hang up washing.
    Clean bathroom & toilet.
Plan what I am giving the boys for lunch.
Have my lunch before I go to the office.
    Put petrol in car.
    Transfer £100 to Cahoot loan.
OH- Have shower & wash hair !!
Let DS on computer for a minute:rolleyes: . He is tapping me on the shoulder now.
Do something with Kids . Weather is not looking great so It may be playing " Britains Got Talent" - dont ask !:rotfl:
    Do some work
Go to office and work at least 5 hrs .

    Not much then .

    Have a lovely day everyone.

I have just realised the joys of not working mornings. I have just had porridge for breakfast ( a big bowl) .... I very rarely have breakfast . So that was a treat . Got to be careful on the food front though. as I would really LOVE to lose 1/2 stone over the holidays. ( a 11b a week SHOULD be achievable.) . I want to go back to school in September and hear floods of " Wow 40SM , you look great":D:T:T

Just been suitably informed that I do not have to be a judge on BGT. Thank God ..... it always ends in tears. Instead they are doing a concert for me !!. They "formed" a group about 4 years ago . DS1 is the songwriter. Most songs are silly but often have hidden meanings in there somewhere. Should be fun.:T

    Washing machine is calling AGAIN.

The boys are now happily playing outside. One dressed as Superman, one as a Star War trooper and the other erm still in his pjs. I might be hanging out my washing .. still in my pjs.

Where abouts in the uk are you, have you checked out council websites to see if there are any free events going on, what about local parks etc.

Could you do some ebaying, surveys, free scratchcards to make a bit extra.

    Hi MieMie:hello:

I live on the surrey/hampshire borders . I will do a search on the internet for free/cheap things to do in our area.

I have done scratchcards, clicks , surveys in the past but never seem to make any money !! . Which scratchcards do you do ? Have been looking at the kids toys lately and thinking .... ebay.

Good luck with your 7 weeks. Are you going anywhere nice for your holiday?
