thanks...yes and Luc everything was very pink..think thats part of being 3/4!
The whole pink girly thing passed me by. So wasn't my thing but I think if I'd had a wee girl I'd have been making up for lost time:rotfl:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Basically she (and me to some extent) is trying to keep to the routine she has always known, dinner every night, roast on sundays. It must not change cos then she starts to feel useless and has nothing to do. I spend pretty much most nights with her, but that is tv watching and you don't talk during the programmes. it doesn't matter what time i spend with her she only notices the things I miss. And she is never horrible about it just sad which leads to me feeling guilty. And she probably isn't even sad about that, she misses my Dad.
Its an impossible situation to be honest, I can't replace my Dad obviously, but she is much much better then she was (as I am!) she goes out with our neighbour and is cooking new stuff. She has semi planned a trip to visit my sister.
Hopefully with my plans for the holidays things should improve, in terms of me not worrying so much and being hyper organised so I can spend time with her without worrying about work.
phew. now I ve got that off my chest!
back to farming!! xxxx
Cool - it was just a thought. I don't know how long ago you lost your Dad but it sounds like she's making progress. Maybe you should suggest you make a new routine together (once you think she's strong enough) as a part of the process of moving on? Even if it means you commit to eating together twice a week and once at the weekend. That way you could do other things in the week and not need to use the internet to find a decent fella (and there are more out there than you might imagine;))26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I cant do pics hun, but here you go
I don't have one of them but I do have a wee goatskin drum my Dad brought home when he finished soldiering in The Gambia. Its one of my most cherished possessions...
And on that note I'm taking my lightweight cider fuzzed brain to bed.
Night all

Yeah I am working on the new routine, in theory we will break the old one whilst I am off  and then I will do things differently next term. I tried before but it was too much too soon. Baby steps, its my new mantra!
