Thank you for all your positive responses, I have ordered their booklet and if I have some time I might translate more of their great articles.
Love to all

I recently started a breadcrumb box in the freezer and now I get quite twitchy when it's getting empty! They are useful in home-made stuffings, crunchy toppings, meatballs, lentil loaf, veggie burgers, etc. In fact, I'm finding they're a free ingredient not something to be swept into the bin. I blitz up all ends of loaves, dry crusts, etc, and into the breadcrumb box they go, from where they can be used straight from frozen. Grazie molto Caterina for both the article and taking the time and trouble to translate it:T
I too am a crumb collector. I also save all the crusts from my hm loaves and either crumb them or more often cube them and fry them for croutons to have with soup. I have bags and bags of them in my freezer.
I love the ideas the writer gives for using them up, they sound so much more appetising than all those wartime uses. I love the Italian way of frying crumbs up to have with pasta -pangritata is it?0
