dance classes in Edinburgh

I fancy taking dance classes for either belly-dancing or latin, in Edinburgh/East Lothian area, and I've tried google, but I'm getting all confused as to what's available. Does anyone know of any good classes for beginners that are quite cheap?

There are new street dance classes in Edinburgh for adult beginners that might interest you.

they have a promotion whereby you can bring a friend and save up to £25 on their courses - works out about £6 class....

Classes start on 1st October 7pm - 8pm

If you are of a certain age, and free on Tuesday afternoons, Dance Base (based in Edinburgh's Grassmarket) have a 'Belly Dance for Mature Movers class'.

Go to www . dancebase . co . uk and click on 'drop-in classes' for more details.

Term started on Tuesday 15th at 15.30 but you can drop in to the class any week up until 1 Dec for £6 per class (£5 concession).

They do have a 'Belly Dance Divas' beginners class but I think it may be sold out now - same with the Latin classes. They should run again early next year and from about Easter on.

I've been to the ceilidh dance classes at Dance Base before; they're good fun.
