Huggies Preemis nappies 69p for 30 at Boots

edited 20 July 2009 at 3:22PM in It's gone, but was it any good?
This was in my local Boots.

I was going to buy my DD some Baby Born nappies (at £3.49 polus £1.49 p&p for 5), but 30 for 69p doll sized (up to 3kg) nappies is a much better deal.

As per Heavensbugs post below, please don't buy for dolls if these are scarce in your area. There were loads in my local store and are easily available online, plus there are also size 0 available in Sainsburys (as per Princess Coupons post below).

    Please do not buy these.

Most people do not realise how difficult it is to get nappies that small for Premature babies.

Special care do not provide nappies you have to provide them yourselves.

If everyone buys them for their dolls there is likely to be none left for the real premature babies who are fighting for their lives.

In my town there is only one place that sells these nappies and I had to drive 5 miles each way to get there for my twin girls while they were in special care.

So please. Leave the nappies for premature babies who are in need of these for them and not for your dolls.

Please do not take this as a Rant but just a consideration.

I'm sorry that you have had trouble getting these. They aren't scarce where I live, and you can also buy them online from Boots. There were loads in my local store (thats why they were reduced, and also why I bought).

Hopefully these should last the dolls lifetime, as they can be reused several times (for dolls) without having to buy any more. That was the idea behind buying them. I didn't mean to cause offense, and would never knowingly deprive a premature baby. (As I said previously, there were a lot that they couldn't get rid of!).

Thanks for your post. I was just looking for a cheaper alternative to the official product. Its nice to know that these are available elsewhere.

A little bump just to say these are still available. Durham Arnison Boots had around 5 packs for 69p each half an hour ago :D
 I love my gorgeous little girl
