Good morning everybody. Hope I've put this in the right place - I'm still new !! I am hoping to go to calais next Friday (just a day trip) via the tunnel. Would anybody have a code for this please. Also, any codes for ferries to GB from Dublin ? I'm very grateful for any replies and many thanks for your usual good help.

I've used the tunnel many times and I'm afraid they don't have any discounts or special offers that I'm aware of. It's a minimum of £98 return, even if you just go for one day. A complete and utter rip-off and an abuse of the monopoly they have.0

Try this website. I haven't used them yet but have had good reports from friends who have:

Oh, and if you want Eurontunnel in particular and have Tesco Clubcard points you can get 4X their value towards the cost by going through the website:

thank you both for your replies. never thought about using tesco clubcard that's great. £98 is rather expensive for a day trip isn't it, I'll have to make it up on wine !! Once again, many thanks I appreciate it x0

Unfortunately when using Clubcard Deals you have to book with EuroTunnel at least 14 days before travel, so it looks like next Friday's out. I can't see any good reason why they have the 14 day rule except to make it harder for people.
With SpeedFerries bear in mind that they go to Boulogne, not Calais.0 -
I was sent a leaflet by Sainsbury's, which my daughter has pinched, so from memory:
Ring 08705 20 20 20 (P&O), quote 'Sainsbury's Spring Offer', booking before 2 June for travel by 3 June, and I'm pretty sure the price was £19 for a car plus 6 passengers. There are offers in their Calais wine store, too.0 -
Fantastic, thank you all for your replies. You've been a great help0

Just booked up for the Sainsbury's Spring Offer. Thanks for the info :beer:0

Seafrance ferry crossings are much cheaper booked on the French site 'www.aferry.fr' Its written in French but is fairly obvious even if you don't speak any French. I've just booked a crossing on it for 93 euros (£63) and the price for the identical crossing was £110 on the Seafrance site. There is also an English sister version called https://www.aferryto.com but surprisingly this is more expensive than the French site!!0

If anyone has any more of these i'd be VERY grateful. Need to get going in the next few days.0
