I had a cash & carry leaflet today with details of discount stores (grattan, freemans etc goods) here is the web address to see if there is a store near you.

This tells you where the stores are, I must admit I got quite excited until I saw the store in my town, they are ok, but the clotes are normally whats over after the catalogues cant sell them.

There's one of these 5 minutes away from where I live and it's full of junk. There's loads of overpriced seconds and tatty clothes and parts of sets and things like that. If you're lucky they can have some cheap furniture and sometimes good bargains for shoes but they are usually in strange sizes. The toys would be cheaper and better quality on the market though.
The best bargain I ever got there was a swimming costume for £15 that I'd seen in another shop for £50! It's very hit and miss and can be a bit disappointing.:smileyhea0 -

I agree with this - I havent visited one for a while, but from my experience it certainly isnt worth making a special visit for. If you are passing by anyway, it is worth a look - but I have never bought anything from one.0
