anywhere i can take my steam generator Iron to get checked...Had it 2.5 years....and its not working...red light on and i have tried everything ?????

More than unlikely it will be uneconomic to repair.

Its a steam generator Iron. It was £229. Worth every penny but did think i would have got longer than 3 years out of it.......0

There is a wee shop on the Belmont Road (sorry cant for the life of me remember what it is called) Its a hardware shop but they do electrical repairs. Its next door to the floor shop.

There is also a shop I have used for repairing shavers, on the Woodstock Road, approximately across the road from the Northern Bank (or is it the Ulster Bank?). Sorry, don't recall it's name

This may sound strange but, theres a pet shop called paws and claws on the comber rd + theres a guy who can fix electrical goods, hes very reasonable! HTH0
